HÜDA PAR controversy in AKP: Journalist close to the government reveals names
The tension within AKP circles regarding HÜDA PAR’s “Humanitarian Solution Workshop for the Kurdish Issue” continues to escalate. The dispute, sparked by this workshop, is gaining momentum with each passing day.
In response to the workshop’s declaration, AKP advisor Mehmet Uçum, who accused the organizers of supporting a separatist Kurdish project, faced backlash. Among those who opposed Uçum’s statements was Aktrol Furkan Bölükbaşı. Bölükbaşı, who supported the workshop through his social media posts, criticized Uçum, stating that “all staunch enemies of Erdoğan applaud Kemalist Mehmet Uçum.”
In light of this, journalist Zihni Çakır, known for his proximity to the government, reported Bölükbaşı to the authorities, questioning whether there is a place called “Kurdistan” or if the accused has some kind of immunity. In response, Bölükbaşı challenged Çakır to also report President Erdoğan, calling him a shameless individual.
Subsequently, Zihni Çakır took to social media once again to insinuate that Bölükbaşı is a “pawn” supported by specific individuals. According to Çakır, AKP Erzurum Deputy Zehra Taşkesenlioğlu and TCDD General Manager Ufuk Yalçın are among those supporting Bölükbaşı.
In his post, Çakır warned those backing Bölükbaşı, stating, “When I engage in a fight, I don’t lean on any walls. But if the person I’m fighting against derives their strength from the walls they lean on, I’ll tear down those walls first. Therefore, I caution those feeding the walking mischief, the crypto-provocateur Furkan B., like @ZTaskesenlioglu and @uyalcin_, first, I’ll expose each of you, then I’ll roll over you like a steamroller. This game has politicians, institutions, even agencies…”
The ongoing feud between Bölükbaşı and Çakır, along with the revelation of the individuals supporting Bölükbaşı, highlights the deepening divisions within AKP circles regarding the Kurdish issue and related events. As tensions continue to rise, the repercussions of this controversy remain to be seen within Turkey’s political landscape.
